Dear Sylv., many thanks for the memories and fun we shared before this cruel illness took hold and you couldn't allow me to share. Skinny dipping in Kos, riding an open deck bus in London dressed as a flapper and a flower power person waving to the tourists, the time we and the girls were bombarded by ladybirds at Studland while you tried to light my birthday cake, then getting locked in the car park there. The holidays and short breaks we took, the many shows enjoyed in the West End and at Regents Park and the races back to the car before midnight when the gates were locked. A unique and lovely lady, intelligent, eloquent and confident who was often anything but underneath . Soft centred and vulnerable. You used to say 'If there is such a thing as reincarnation , that you would like to come back as a hippo and spend your days wallowing in the mud. Enjoy! It was a privilege to know you, and I shall continue to miss you. R.I.P. and, God Bless. Xx
